« Generation Paname »  reunites the best talents of the french stand up scene for ten representations live and broadcasted in prime time for French Tv channel France2. Produced by acclaimed producer Kader Aoun in the legendary venue of La Cigale, this immersive scenography is a three-dimensional transposition of the Paname Comedy Club’s iconic mud brick wall designed by Studio Malka in 2020.
Just like the Paname Comedy Club, this 2.0 stage design is a digital representation of the «4th wall» this imaginary line between the actors and the audience by addressing and interacting directly with the audience.
The brick wall is hijacked from the original stand-up classic codes as the scene bends, expands, twist and finally dissolve. Moreover this dissolution is deeply rooted in its very core as it is totally numerizes, creating a visual ambiguity between the perception of a massive physicality and the reality of a digitalized coded immateriality.
